ABOUT
Sarah earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and her Bachelor of Arts from New York University. Prior to private practice, she completed her practicum training at Valley Community Counseling Clinic. In addition to her experience working with individuals and couples, she co-facilitated and established the first grief group for adults at the clinic.
With a background in the arts and years in the entertainment industry, Sarah works creatively and understands the unique issues which arise from life as an artist. Sarah has spent the past decade exploring many non-traditional healing modalities including breathwork, energy healing, and multi-modality Reiki. Because of this, she incorporates various somatic and mindfulness interventions into sessions. Her approach is informed by psychoanalytic, and psychodynamic principles. She places an emphasis on working with trauma, eating disorders, creative issues, relationships, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and life transitions.
Sarah is LGBTQ+ affirmative and sensitive to issues related to gender, race, ethnicity, spirituality, privilege, and socioeconomic status.
